Endless Series v3:

  • Q: What is the difference if I purchase on the App Store?
  • A: If you buy on the App Store you only get the OSX standalone version of Endless Series. It has all the same features as the plugin, but if you want to record the audio you will have to use something like Soundflower.
  • Q: Why is the version number different on the App Store?
  • A: It's simply due to Apple's review process. Even the smallest change or bug fix needs to get reviewed by Apple, which can take up to two weeks. If, in the mean time, I fix a bug, I then have to resubmit the app to Apple and wait. You should check the version number in the "About Box" of the app - this is the true version and should be in sync with the plugin version.
  • Q: How does the plugin differ from previous versions?
  • A: Version 3 is a vast improvement on earlier versions of Endless Series. It is programmed in C++, rather than Synthedit or MaxMSP, so I have much more control over both the DSP and the user experience. I have added many new options and have improved the sound of the plugin. Endless series is now one plugin rather than four seperate plugins.
  • Q: Does Endless Series v3 require pluggo?
  • A: No! it's a native plugin. It works in Ableton Live and Steinberg hosts (which previously had problems) and loads much faster.
  • Q: Is Endless Series v3 compatible with previous versions?
  • A: No, it's a totally different plugin.
  • Q: I thought there were four plugins in v2?
  • A: There were, but now they're all combined into one, apart from the pitch shifter which has been replaced by a resonant filter bank.
  • Q: Will Endless series v3 work in 64bit hosts?
  • A: Yes, the installers should handle putting the correct versions in the correct places. There should be no need to "bridge" Endless Series.
  • Q: Will Endless series v3 work in host XYZ?
  • A: Probably. I have tested it in most of the common hosts. However, I strongly recommend that you try the demo and make sure you're happy with it and that it works in your host before purchasing.
  • Q: I own an old version of Endless Series, how can I get version 3?
  • A: The update for owners of Endless Series version 1/2 (including owners of the bundle) costs £9.99 GBP. Please contact me with the email address that you used to purchase the plugin or paypal transaction number.
  • Q: I have a ppc mac, can I use Endless Series?
  • A: Sorry, but ppc machines are not supported.
  • Q: Does the RTAS version work with ProTools v7 or v8
  • A: Maybe, but it is not officially supported. I don't have access to the ProTools hardware in order to test it.
  • Q: Is Endless Series v3 available for Linux?
  • A: Not at present.
  • Q: Once I have purchased Endless Series, how many computers can I use it on?
  • A: If you purchased this product as an individual, you are licensed to install and use the software on any computer you need to use it on. If you need to use it on a shared machine, that's fine as long as you remove it afterwards. If you purchased it as an institution or company, you are licensed to use it on one machine only, and must purchase additional copies for each machine you wish to use it on. You are not permitted to give it to all your friends to install on their computers.
  • Q: What is your license transfer policy?
  • A: You may transfer your license to another person, but the original owner is required to contact me with the details of the license transfer, so that the new owner can receive the updates and support attached to the license. Upon transferring a license the original owner must remove any copies from their machines and are no longer permitted to use the software.
  • Q: What updates am I entitiled to?
  • A: You are entitled to free updates until version 4. No guarantee is made that this product will be maintained indefinitely. Computers and operating systems change very rapidly, and although I will try my best to update the product to work with current machines, there may be a time when this is not viable.
  • Q: Do I get the Mac version and the Windows version?
  • A: Yes, the license allows you to use Endless Series on both platforms.
  • Old Software:

  • Q: What happened to Dronebox, Polycomb and Spacestation?
  • A: They are temporarily withdrawn from sale. Like Endless Series they have been rewritten from the ground up in C++, but they need a bit more work.
  • Q: What happened to the free plugins?
  • A: The free windows plugins that I made with synthedit are discontinued but can still be downloaded here. They do not work on modern cpus, you have to disable multiprocessor support in your vst host to use them. Please do not contact me regarding any problems with these plugins. I will not be updating them.
  • Q: What happened to the MaxMSP stuff?
  • A: I will be updating and organising it and putting it on my github page.
  • Q: What happened to the Synthedit stuff?
  • A: It can be downloaded here. Please do not contact me regarding any problems with it since I no longer maintain it.
  • Q: What happened to pMix?
  • A: pMix is available for free on the Mac App Store
